This guidebook is based on 44,000 climbing meters of research, presenting classic alpine milestones and newly-created routes with commentary from climbing legends like Albert Precht, Klaus Hoi, and Heinz Zak. Historic routes from renowned climbers like Angelo Dibona and Hias Rebitsch are included to meet modern standards. Furthermore, modern routes secured with bolts by masters such as Ralf Sussmann, Rudi Kühberger, and the author are featured. Alongside these are 40 long routes with at least 20 pitches, in which you can latch drill hooks according to the spirit of the times, but sometimes you have to put your trust in rusty protections.
